Do you spend your days rejoicing?  We live out such hectic lives. Day by day our simple thoughts turn into things of evil when we don’t rely on the One to see us through.  And on those days when we do, do we really rejoice in all that He has done for us.  From the minute to the overwhelming huge.  In a little over than a week the most important and ultimately huge event will be celebrated.  Christmas.  The party of all parties should be happening all over the world.  If not psychically then spirituality.     For where would we be if this birth did not take place.  We would be exactly where we deserve to be.  Dead.  We would be dead in every sense.  I implore you to rejoice!  Rejoice that you have the ability to go through those hectic days.  Rejoice that they are not every single day.  Rejoice that you have a day.  Rejoice that you have a Father who loves you so much that He was more than willing to allow His one and only son to die for you.  That He found a woman here on Earth that was worthy enough to birth such a son.  That He handed him over for all.  Rejoice that He sits at His right hand.     Rejoice so that God gets the glory.  I read the other day from a pastor’s sermon, that the reason we exist was that we are to be Christ like.  I do agree that we are to be Christ like,1John 3: 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and t has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. however I believe we are here to give God the glory that he so rightly deserves in all things that we do here on Earth.  Jesus rejoiced for the glory of God to be reveled.  He rejoiced even on the cross, after He had been beaten and beaten and beaten. Mark 15:17-19 And they clothed Him with purple; and twisted a crown of thorns, put it on His head, and began to salute Him, Hail, King of the Jews! Then they struck Him on the head with a reed and spat on Him; and bowing the knee, they worshiped Him.  And when they had mocked Him, they took the purple off Him, put His own clothes on Him, and led Him out to crucify Him. He didn’t even look human anymore Isaiah 52:13-15   Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently; He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.  Just as many were astonished at you, So His visage was marred more than any man.  And His form more than the sons of men; So shall He sprinkle many nations.  Kings shall shut their mouths at Him; For what had not been told them they shall see, And what they had not heard they shall consider.and He was happy that the Lord’s will was being carried out.    So when you think about how bad your day has been remember to rejoice.  For it could be so far worse.  You could find true persecution for who you are.

  1. We don’t really need to look very far to know how fortunate we are, even on our bad days. We should rejoice for all God has doen for us, and for all we have.
